By the River

My writing practice began as a child, sitting by the Magnetawan River, looking at this view, with the expanse of Georgian Bay just beyond the horizon. For decades, I spent hours there reading, writing, and piecing together stories of Georgian Bay, family memory, history, and the writing life. Now I write in other places, but the spirit of where it began is always with me.

 

This is a collection of lingering thoughts and works-in-progress, some research, some creativity, some photography too.
