Bring light into your life through creative energy

Sunflower facing the sun

Creativity is an energy. When creativity flows well, we can feel freedom, connectivity, clarity, and joy. Alive. The more we engage in creative projects at home, the more creative we can be at work.

“I dwell in possibility.” Emily Dickinson

How do you feel about your creative energy?

More than ever we are preparing for a future we may not understand. There is so much we don't know. Creative expression invites us to befriend the discomfort of the unknown while we surrender to making something new. We can find things we didn't know we needed by shifting our focus from the world out there to the worlds inside here, inside ourselves. Inside the stillness of our being, we can find our truths, our force. Creativity will help us explore and discover. Connect and create. We will find new ways to be in the world and to connect to others.

Reflection:

  1. How do you collect or generate ideas?

  2. What time of day are you at your best? How do you maximize your joy?

  3. Do you finish the projects you start?

  4. What do you envision an ideal creative life to look like, feel like?

  5. Are you currently meeting your creative goals?

Sometimes I think about my creative energy like a river, pulsing, changing, and moving beneath each moment of my life.
